Greetings from Idyllwild, CA

I'm just hanging out in Idyllwild today, the town is over-run with through hikers, it's like a Grateful Dead show, without the VW Buses.

My pack is sooo heavy right now. I just loaded up at the grocery store, I should have had lunch FIRST! Well, lesson learned. I better eat this stuff fast.

In addition to the food I just bought, I scored a 4 lb. bag of something I've dubbed "hippie chow" it's got lentils, beans, wild rices, spices and bunch of other stuff. It's awesome! I can probably eat for the rest of the hike just on this stuff (though I probably wouldn't want to).
